Easiest way to trigger it seems to be dragging those points around while notes are playing. If I only change the curve while no voices are playing, it's much more well-behaved. The more voices play while I drag the nodes around, the more weirdly it behaves after.

We already fixed that internally. It was noticed the day we released the beta, but over here, it was only happening in Zebra3, not in Zebralette.

Stuck notes here in VE Pro (VST2, because Bitwig doesn't manage correctly multichannel in VST3). It seems that Zebralette (VST3) normally reacts to CC 120/123 but when notes are stuck, it has no effect. While the same notes sequence is working as expected with Hive in parallel on same MIDI input and channel. And VE Pro MIDI monitor lights up on receive.
Sending CC120/123 just before note on, cause next note to stop abruptly. Below CC 26 triggers CC 120/123 (on all channels) in Plugdata and its print reports correct MIDI out sequence order. Same output is sent to Hive with no issue.

Strange issue: the up-down keys of the keyboard to move from one preset to the next or to the former work erratically. When you click a note on the GUI keyboard and then want to go to a following preset you have to click several times without any movement before it works, or you have to go up before it goes down or vice versa.

Zebralette 3 Rev 20354 RC1, Bitwig 6 b6, Linux Ubuntu.
"init" preset isn't changing anything or it's changing it in strange way
in other words "init" preset is strange ...
One more problem:
all OSC Effects that have "Attenuate" and "Morph" knobs starts to produce crackling sound when pressing multiple note keys, is that bug or my audio engine samples amount? I have them set to 256 (had 128 before) but I don't think anything is changed.
With abovementioned effects Zebralette3 and most likely Z3 will crackle anyway.
But if I press same note keys with effects that don't have those "Attenuate" or "Influence" + "Morph" knobs, there is no crackling sound.
Map-o-Matic crackles most of all.

That's a Bitwig bug they introduced with their new Undo/Redo system in Bitwig 5.3.WalterH wrote: Fri Dec 05, 2025 11:18 am Zebralette 3 Rev 20354 RC1, Bitwig 6 b6, Linux Ubuntu.

It affects the CLAP versions of our plug-ins.
Please let Bitwig know about it. We already mentioned it, but it might get fixed sooner if some users mention it as well.

Tweaking the Curve Morph button often results in audio dropouts/overloads, the signal then never comes back and one has to reload the patch - if saved before

Would be great to have a patch where this happens...Sampleconstruct wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 3:49 pm Tweaking the Curve Morph button often results in audio dropouts/overloads, the signal then never comes back and one has to reload the patch - if saved before![]()

Hi, testing Rev 20399 CLAP Linux x64 with Bitwig. Some controls are available in Zebralette's MIDI Learn but they don't show up in the list of parameters shared with the DAW:
Drift
Plot Domain
Osc Wave PreFX
Soft Attack
VCA
LFOs: DepthModSrc1 and 2
Also, when changing presets it would be useful if Zebralette would send the new MIDI states of the controls, so that motorized controllers and controllers with touch displays etc directly mapped to Zebralette would update themselves automatically.
I found out about these problems today while trying to fully map the Roto Control to Zebralette. Roto has Plugin mode (via Bitwig) and MIDI mode (direct mapping). In Plugin mode the controller state is automatically updated when a new preset is loaded, but the parameters above are missing (and this mode is less flexible, but this is out of u-he's scope).
Roto's Midi mode is very flexible and it can map all the controls offered by Zebralette, but the fact that these controls don't update when a new preset is loaded defeats the purpose of a motorized controller with displays and dynamically assigned knobs and buttons...
Even with these little problems, the Zebralette-Roto combo feels very good already. Hopefully these details can be polished in future versions!
Ah, and a couple of details in the use guide:
P13: DC Block is insterted in the middle of the Modifier section. It should go after "Wild Randomness".
P40: Almost empty with just one sentence and an (accidental?) page break.
That's it, thank you to whoever has contributed to this guide. It has been very useful to this newbie today.

Does anyone still experience this bug from the early Zebralette 3 versions?
> You save a project in your DAW containing Zebra 3.
> You reopen the project.
> All MSEGs (Multi-Stage Envelope Generators) appear reset to their default shapes.
> The visual plot (orange lines) shows the default shape, and unfortunately, the modulation follows this default plot. However, the white lines (the actual control points) still show your original intended shape without acting like active mod.
I have to manually reset every MSEG by clicking their corresponding rectangle icons on the Morph Vector.
I'm wondering if others are still seeing this, or if I've corrupted my presets by importing them from the very first Zebralette 3 beta?
