Buy the full version or not?

I have the free version of Tracktion that was available until 12-31 and I LOVE it. It gets me by and I've had no problems or limitations with it.
Is the $80 version the same thing? What is my benefit of buying it? Does anyone know if buying it will get me a discount on T2? I've got no problem buying the program, but I was wondering what comes with the price tag.
Thanks in advance,
Patrick

The only guarantee that has been made is that you will not pay MORE than the total T2 pricetag if you own the first version. And they said it will be worth it to buy version 1 as there will probably be a little bit of a price break. But you definately won't have to pay more than the difference between the two versions.

I believe you get a slightly newer version of T1 if you pay for it - though I may be wrong. My paid-for version is 1.6.0.1.

Nope. Same version as the NFR.Id Lab wrote:I believe you get a slightly newer version of T1 if you pay for it - though I may be wrong. My paid-for version is 1.6.0.1.
