Sort of a bug report on bug reports.

To me, the thing about releasing a beta, is that a primary reason for doing so is the expectation of receiving bug reports about things the devs may have missed for whatever reason.

Unfortunately the Uhe website bug report form page doesn't provide a mechanism for attaching files, like crashlogs or screenshots, which can be extremely valuable (and helpful) in tracking down a bug.

Just sayin'.

I didn't want to push the "env mod" suggestions any further (because the guys are probably pretty swamped with requests ATM), but it should probably a dedicated knob (unless they maybe do separate knobs for "A", "D" and "R" (or if they do graphical envelopes a la Serum)).

They cant do the envelope like Serum, Z3 envs are complex, especially when you modulate V1 and V2, hard to visualize. Separate knobs for ADR though, I asked for this a while ago. The fact that we cant have a linear attack + convex release for eg without using MSEG is quite outdated. I wish they replace the ADR letters and change to small curves that you can drag separately.

any plans to implement a right click assign modulation feature? Also, is there an alternate modulation source that flips between two ranges?

Any cpu saving tips? how worried should i be increasing polyphony for detune for thick pads? I usuall go crazy with 16 with 4 osc and then overload but i try to reduce and i don't notice much of a change? Which things require most cpu --> fx, filters, detune/poly - osc fx?

Less than the snack you’ll eat while installing it.

If you own Zebra 2 (pre-Legacy) only you can upgrade to Zebra 3 for €30 (~$30).
If you own Zebra 2 and The Dark Zebra you get Zebra 3 completely free.
Owning other u-he products (Hive, Diva, Repro, etc.) does not give a further crossgrade discount beyond the above. There’s no general multi-product owner pricing.
Buying Zebra Legacy now (the 99 € bundle) does not give you the €30 upgrade path. You’d pay normal pre-order or full price for Zebra 3.

Pretty sure this is right, but if not, someone please set me straight.

Hey Urs, consider these considerations:

1. When you retire, if it's not too long from now, open the sources, even if they become less relevant. (How clean is your code?)
2. Write on the UI, Z3bra instead of Zebra 3.
3. U-He for an acoustic instrument, maybe after the Z3/electro-career dust settles. Yes, I realize you now have Civilization (cute-- how's that selling?), but ok, you could call it U-He Post-Civ guitars (or vibraphones or whatever) or something like that. What's your favourite acoustic instrument? Do you have/play one?
4. Put your name last in any U-He credits and consider somehow 'highlighting' those/any (assuming they wish) who work for with you-- their time, efforts, achievements, tasks, sacrifices, etc.-- if you haven't. We already have an idea what 'U-He' is an abbreviation for.

Cute black t-shirt and vest BTW. I wouldn't have normally thought of wearing an insulated vest over a t-shirt, but you somehow manage to pull it off. Looks cozy.

Best with the membership card. You could make it useable to get into special events with too, like concerts, operas and whatnot... maybe grocery-shopping.

These synths are mostly used by synth nerds*. Synth nerds don't go out, they don't have a social life, and they don't go to, or get invited to, "events". They are solitary synth cave trolls**, and barely ever stray more than ten feet from a filter cutoff knob. This is known. Even if it actually was a membership card, rather than a digital image containing some embedded data...
