smart:comp 3 for people having smart:comp 2

So i have smart:comp 2 (like many people) and i dont see a way to get smart:comp 3 for less than buying it outright if i had no sonible plugins.

With smart:reverb 1 there was a free? or cheap way to get smart:reverb 2 in the first days it was out....
but it seems its not the same for smart:comp series ?
