Same behavior here only if my source wave is Spectrum Curve and I use Additive rendering with Precise maths. If I use Fast or Rough Maths at any Resoution I do not lose the audio. Are you using Precise maths? That made it crater immediately for me. I had to reload the VST3.Sampleconstruct wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:47 pm Tweaking the Curve Morph button often results in audio dropouts/overloads, the signal then never comes back and one has to reload the patch - if saved before![]()

I can't seem to modulate MSEG rate with and lfo, though it works with another mseg

What's the issue? modulation modules are there at right side from MSEG.. see:Touch The Universe wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 11:07 pm I can't seem to modulate MSEG rate with and lfo, though it works with another mseg
I modulated Loop

Sorry, I didn't see this thread, also post this in the other one:
f you double click on an OSC on the top left, or an MSEG, couldn't then open the detail tab below? Also an option "detail tabs follow selection" might be nice...?
Another slight improvement:
If you switch from Presets tab to Synth tab, and a very bottom element in the matrix is already selected (e.g. the filter as last element in the chain), the left panel view also should be scrolled to that selected element, IMO. Seems to be inconsistent otherwise...
The performance of the CLAP version seems to be worse than the VST3 version, on my system, M1pro macos 15.7 Bitwig. The preset "Kanta Bronze" will quite more early run into cpu dropouts using the CLAP version.

Is it normal to hear distorted pops when feeding Additive Rendered oscillators into the Comb filters? It's possibly the result of non-zero crossings of the freely running partials being accentuated by the Comb, if this is the case, it would be really nice to have some slewing in the Osc or Comb to round off the edges of the incoming signal to avoid the unpleasant distortion.
VST3, MacOS Sequoia, Bitwig 5.3.13. I was using a single instance of Z3 in a blank project with a 2048 sample buffer so I wasn't anywhere near the DSP ceiling nor was I clipping the output of the synth. The pops were present at max and min Resolution and Math settings. I saved the patch and can send to support if needed

It doesn't have an effect. I assign it no problem, seems there is a bug.WalterH wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 7:40 amWhat's the issue? modulation modules are there at right side from MSEG.. see:Touch The Universe wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 11:07 pm I can't seem to modulate MSEG rate with and lfo, though it works with another mseg

It would be way easier to troubleshoot problems if everyone would write their at least minimum system info OS/DAW in "signature" under the posts, like I have.
In short I have no problems with modulating Loop and I hear how it accelerates / decelerates

It works fine over here. Maybe post the preset, so we can investigate why it's not working for you.Touch The Universe wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 8:20 am It doesn't have an effect. I assign it no problem, seems there is a bug.

So might be a Tahoe issue.
Does it work if you hold the Shift key while opening the resize menu?

What do you mean? There are no solo buttons on the oscillator modules.Signifier wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:17 pm Are the oscillator solo buttons perhaps not working in r20399 on Win64?
There is a solo option when you right-click an oscillator module in the module grid, though.
Is this what you mean?

I'm not sure if that is error, but why many waves and even sinewave gives that strange high frequency clapping sound? Started to notice that more prominently when using arpegiator, but even without arp for single note it claps little bit sometimes. Don't remember Z2 doing that..
Simple setup: You can see a clapping source at the left side, little bump at very left of wave.
I applied filter to isolate high frequencies, so claps are there always.. I simply can't make deep low bass beats

If you want to use the hold pedal to hold notes, then you do not need to assign the hold modulator to anything. Just step on the hold pedal and play notes.ho66it wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:52 pm If I drag from the 'Hold' icon in the bottom row of the GUI and drop on a control, a slot is created in the matrix. But no matter how I manipulate the controls in the slot or in the target module, there is no response.
The hold modulation source is there if you want to actually use the generated hold signal as a modulation source for a parameter.

Go to the preferences and switch "Hide Mouse on Drag" off. Then the mouse cursor will appear when you move a parameter.JoeLowery215 wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:58 pm I personal hate that if you move the knobs, the knobs move while the pointer stays still. This isn't how it works in Zebra 2...not sure if that's a bug though

The VST3 scan in Digital Performer is notoriously bad.machinesworking wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 10:30 pm VSTi3 fails plugin evaluation in Digital Performer 11.35 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1.
