Lots of random crashes in Cubase 14 and 15 on Mac Pro 2023 OS 14.7.5 (23H527), maybe one every two minutes or so when programming. I'm putting the logs aside to submit if needed. Can't wait for a slightly more stable version. Looks absolutely amazing.

In Synthesis view, there is usually some blank space in the mod-matrix at the bottom of the screen.
I would like to use an OS file-manager tool, to drop an .h2p file there, and have it load. I can easily craft the file manager size, shape, color, text size etc, and minimize it as desired, to suit my screen, daw and plugin size. At that point, I could put sounds I like into folders, and rarely need the deluxe U-he preset browser. It is overkill for me, one person who after auditioning sounds, will deal with dozens, not thousands of them.
In addition, flipping between panels to see what's going on after each sound is selected is a buzzkill.
Being able to drop a preset on Synthesis view empty space, and see what parameters are hopping around, would be educational for me when comparing similar sounds, like 'Artificial Heart', and 'Brown Suitcase', two new favorites
That's my last feature request of 2025
and it would also be welcomed in any other U-he plugin.

How do you import a .wav wavetable?
I dragged and dropped one from Serum 2 but Zebra put all the waveforms of the .wav file into a single position.

Edit:
According to the manual:

So I guess this is a bug. Will report it to support.Single cycle files will be recognized as such and will only replace the currently selected Curve, while multi-cycle samples will replace the Curve Set.

While I agree they probably should, you can use a Util module for gainstaging.jtsterays wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 11:11 pm Both Folder and Dist should have an output knob, gain matching is objectively good practice, even in a sound design context.

I managed to take osc curves i made with zebralette and import them into zebra3 by just saving them in Zbralette, and copying the file to the concurrent folder of Zebra 3. One small bug: it seems to automatically assign lfo1 to tune, so you need to then disable that assignment.
Pitch page: if i assign modwheel or pressure to one of the pitch lanes' vibrato depth, it affects all oscs regardless of what pitch lane they are assigned to. (But i think the notes mention pitch page not being reliable yet)
Quite stable overall on Live 12 Win 11 here, though a complex 4 osc patch with high settings and additional fm, it will crackle at high polyphony. Bit hopefully multicore can help with that in the future.
More general utilitarian ergonomy remarks:
in the MSEG editing, i find it hard to move a breakpoint to do a vertical line, without the curve flipping upside down. Maybe a slightly larger deadzone there to allow quick snapping to grid?
Also, i wish there was like a wide mode, A quarter of the screen i not being used, i wouldn't mind a second colum for the modulators and less scrolling for the fx chain

Perhaps it's not clear in the user guide: To prevent e.g. vibrato from Pitch 1 being adopted by Pitch 2, the Pitch 2/Vibrato section needs to be activated.M32 wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 11:44 pm Pitch page: if i assign modwheel or pressure to one of the pitch lanes' vibrato depth, it affects all oscs regardless of what pitch lane they are assigned to.

Congrats to Urs and the U-He team on the Zebra3 roll out. It sounds *very* nice.
Apologies if this has already been suggested but, would it be unreasonable to include an option to float the oscillator edit windows?
Some degree of back and forth page flipping would be significantly reduced if extended screen space could be utilized to display the more critical and often accessed programming modules.

That would be nice as an option. Not needed all the time thoughnexusfluxx wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 12:37 am Congrats to Urs and the U-He team on the Zebra3 roll out. It sounds *very* nice.

I have no issues with the idea of a bipolar-ish Ratio knob.Andreya_Autumn wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 2:28 amwintoid wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 6:21 pm Is this how you convert Zebra 3 FMO ratios?

Yes. And yeah this is also what I commented on a few pages back. It would be so much more intuitive to use harmonic/subharmonic nomenclature. Because well, those are indeed the actual frequency ratios. The overtone/undertone off-by-one thing doesn't seem to add any value but does make things more confusing. Please consider switching @Urs and friends.
That's my only real UI complaint so far though. Great job on this, works well and sounds fantastic. Ich freue mich tierisch!
However: it would be very handy while editing the Ratio parameter if Zebra 3's data display also showed the Mod:Carrier and actual ratio values, in addition to the 25.00–25.00 number.

After listening to these presets, I think we need to change the One Synth Challenge to a One Oscillator Challenge. This is incredible.
