Just a report. The Melda MOscilloscope plugin (VST3 and AU version) interface and functionality is very problematic in the Ardour DAW (Ardour 8.12.0) on Mac OS (ARM, Tahoe 26.1).MOscilloscope works well in Reaper on the same machine (Mac OS 26.1), but the functionality and controls of that Melda plugin and perhaps others (MOscilloscope is the first I've noticed, ) are sluggish, unpredictable or simply don't work (have no effect) and don't seem very compatible with the Ardour DAW or its hosting environment. Ardour is a great, efficient DAW for audio and MIDI recording and editing (not extremely bloated with "music production" toys like Cubase or Bitwig Studio).
Love Melda plugins, so hoping that they will eventually work well within the Ardour DAW.

Update:
MSoundFactory also problematic. Interface very difficult to navigate or control with mouse. Interface elements unresponsive, audio output ceases for several seconds at irregular intervals, problems persist whether Multicore is enabled or not within the plugin. The DAW (Ardour) or Mac OS seems to steal the mouse pointer frequently (Melda's mouse pointer icons are replaced by Mac OS system mouse icons), perhaps other undiscovered problems. Will update this report as I can--

I wanted to see whether the issue is between Melda plugins and the Ardour DAW, or between the plugins and the operating system. So I booted my Linux computer with the latest version of Linux Mint (22.2) and Ardour (8.12), but to quote the Melda Productions website:
MPluginManager works great (on Mac OS, anyway) but is only available for Mac and Windows. So while many VST plugins do function and can be used in Linux (although usually not those that require or make use of local network access without some further effort if it all, perhaps Melda VST plugins cannot.Since version 17.00 we are changing our installation system.
