Hello everybody,

We are pleased to announce that version 17.07 of our plugins is now available. To update, simply launch MPluginManager and ensure it is set to “Latest” or “Latest + Beta” mode (if it isn’t already). The manager will automatically download and install all the newest packages for you.

Highlights of this Release:

- Introduction of the new MMicSim microphone simulator plugin.

- Addition of two new instruments Piano on a trip and Virtuoso power to MSoundFactory

- Stability improvements to MTrackAlign for DAWs from Boris FX (Samplitude, Sequoia, etc.).

- Expanded functionality across several plugins, including collapsible File & Source settings in MCompare, and new Auto Shift and Gain Limit features in MMatcher.

- Workflow enhancements such as the new Link Channels option in MLimiterX and MLimiterMB.

- Numerous fixes and optimizations, including improved multiple MTrackAlign rendering, DAW-specific corrections, and better handling of overlapping audio regions.

Usually Melda plugins have an icon in the top right, like a house or something, which gives a drop down menu for documentation, home page, etc.

You can invoke help on each control by pressing F1 on PC or FN+F1 on MAC. Or just pressing the help icon in the plugin. The MMicSim manual can be downloaded here: https://www.meldaproduction.com/documentation/

Thank you! It's working now.

Trying out the demo of MMicSim.
On the left side, "Your Mic", the "Flat" option is nowhere to be found.
I'm on Logic Pro 11.2.2 and MacOs 15.7.2.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Forget it!
Did a reinstall and now it's working!

MMicSim is a really nice addition, many thanks! Now I am wondering, if you could develop a similar plugin for shaping the sound of guitar pickups 🤩

Isn't already MMAtcher perfectly usable for this? :)
I think there's even a video about it...

What model is the included "Lewitt LCT" in MMicSim exactly? LCT 240 Pro? It just says "LCT" in the UI.

The mic in the picture seems like the LCT 240 PRO (the 440 looks the same but it doesn't have the logo in green). Also I checked the frequency curve and it seems to match the serious cut in the lows of the 240. The 440 is almost flat under 4Khz.

I can get behind that, and I've heard others online asking about the same.

So just wanted to notify you that your latest offline installer 17.03 is broken... it will get stuck and freeze on update or install anything. Reason seems to be that it will try to load the v17.07.02 versions of the binkernel and binkernel_avx2 files instead of v17.07.03.

I never updated with the 17.07.02 offline installer so I don't have those files (therefor it get stuck trying to download them) and I assume if you have those files in the cache it will use them and the installer will work but it will not use the 17.07.03 files, so if there are any fixes between them they won't be updated.

I just renamed the files accordingly and the installer was able to complete without freezing.
