When I change the tempo via an automation clip or by dragging over the clock in both cases I hear a very audible crackle (during the entire time there is a tempo shift). Should I try anything to fix this?
I am on a M1 Pro macbook pro. And this happens even if there is only one track running and the CPU is very low. I am just using the built in sound interface and External headphones to test this. I left the buffer size to auto and also tried 512. I tried both the multi core mode and single core. I always get a crackle.
Tempo change produces an audible crackle :(

Is this when using the internal sounds with echo, or when using plugins?
If it's about the internal sounds, i know the echo module is not yet acting smooth when there are tempo changes, maybe it's that what you hear?
Talk soon friday / weekend. Have to call it a day now. Long drive tomorrow.

This is indeed caused by the Echo native effect. When I remove it there are no crackles. There are no VSTs in this project.
Sounds good. These are not time sensitive things. I am just recreating the basic things I do in Bitwig and posting as I run into stuff.
