midi learn midi mapping.....

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, greetings to all of you, I hope my question is in the right place.
I'm using the latest version of Waveform DAW.
My experience is this: when I use a VST synth with MIDI controller MAPPING, it works, but during recording, MIDI note information is recorded, but NOT the controller data...
If I use the MIDI LEARN method, there is no problem....
Is it possible that these two mapping methods can make this difference?
I checked everything, and the read/write controller data in the transportbar ARE activated.
Also the midi channels are ok.

I use latest free version of Waveform
Win 10 latest version
I7 processor 12th generation etc. etc...

We are all waiting on a update from support.
So send off your problem to them
More people who report hopefully quicker we will find out.
But I think automation doesn't work as it used to in the Free version
Waiting to find out if upgrades are needed but no response so far.
