What does "KVR" mean?

If you look at the "About" page, it says:

What does KVR mean?

Nothing, KVR once meant something but we have forgotten what that

Yeah, well said. That's why I'm asking: What could KVR have been?

My suggestion would be: "Kind of Virtual Recording" = "KVR"

Perhaps there are other suggestions, or perhaps "KVR" is
semantically completely nihilistic - and it consists of three
arbitrary letters.
