Indeed. But GRM didn't do a Black Friday sale either this year, so it seems like they don't really care for the money

Paypal seems to be working again or at least available as option for checkout

Edit: Ok nvmd I can see the option but I can't buy the product doesn't matter what is selected. But at least the option seems to appear now

I got excited for a second, but yeah … the PayPal option is there, but it’s not possible to place an order. But it seems we’re finally getting there, eventually

Thought Atelier looked amazing and was looking forward to the Windows version. But following this topic and seeing just how half-assed everything has (unfortunately) been handled my confidence for grabbing the Windows version at a premium price isn't very high. Will probably wait this one out, either permanently or however long it might take for things to stabilize, or for it to instill a sense of security (that the price I pay goes to a product that will be maintained and handled properly, to some degree). A bit of a shame.

Update: It actually works now.

The confusing part is that you have to re-enter your billing address in your account settings in order to buy the plugin, even though you already enter the same information during checkout under customer information.

I replied to them saying this is pretty unintuitive. I honestly felt a bit stupid for missing it, especially since it does say “please update your billing address to proceed”. But because I had already entered my address during checkout, I assumed that message was just another site bug rather than a separate requirement.

thanks for this. I'd probably miss that too. Maybe the billing info is asked twice, once for GRM's records for validating customers details and once for the payment company they are using.

We just showcased the Windows port at NAMM these past few days; it’s almost ready. We’re still in LA; once we get back we’ll iron out the few issues left, test extensively and release. If no roadblocks I’d say 2 weeks from now
