2. built in editor for the exciter module would be cool to see
3. small oscilloscope next to main volume knob whould be dope to ,yes there is a big one but instead of it the small one would be more practical.
That would be a loooot more complex than the audio routing.wheelD wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 7:37 pm 1. consider adding the module view ,similar to main module view in the effects matrix.
I was thinking, maybe some kind of visualisation. The editing itself is fully parametric through the knobs, but maybe it would help to see what the result looks like...2. built in editor for the exciter module would be cool to see
We try to avoid too much visual wiggle, as they cost a lot of CPU, until maybe we reworked the rendering system on Windows...3. small oscilloscope next to main volume knob whould be dope to ,yes there is a big one but instead of it the small one would be more practical.
a multiband delay with that same editor as welljtsterays wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 8:07 pm Waveshaper module with the same spline editor would be ace.
This is a great point.ahanysz wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:17 amI never use a step sequencer. Therefore I very much want Z3 to have a sequencer! That way, when other people make arp presets or sequenced presets, I can turn off the sequencer with a single click and get to a usable mono preset. As opposed to people doing clever workarounds with different modulators, and then it takes detective work to figure out which modulation to disable.rACatkvr wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 10:26 pm I’m not sure why people keep asking for a step sequencer. Can they not just use the one in the DAW?
Yes, that's a really good point. But I think it's pretty clear that this will come, it's just too much for a 1.0 release.ahanysz wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:17 amI never use a step sequencer. i also find it very inconvenient , please Urs consider thisEmadees wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:14 amHmm, i find it very inconvenient if the only place where i can access the phase adjustment is from there. I guess it is better than nothing, but i really hope this gets updated!JoeLowery215 wrote: Sat Dec 20, 2025 5:31 pmYes! It's hidden but in the matrix, just right click and assign whatever modulator you want to it:Emadees wrote: Sat Dec 20, 2025 5:15 pm Also, i think my third question wasn’t answered. And lastly(sorry if im stupid), is there a way to adjust the phase of an osc?
Edit: can you also bring back the z2 reverb as an option?

Oh you're so edgy. Thanks for letting us know you're beyond these trivialities. Who cares about loyalty? Who cares about discount? Not Mr. Borbolactic, that's for sure. He's soooo cooool.Borbolactic wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 8:27 pmI am uninterested in loyalty discounts and the like since I have no loyalty with your company.
It sounds like you didn't turn up the modulation depth — the pair of green triangles to the left of the Curve Morph modulation selector. See "Direct Modulation" on page 8 of the user guide.GruvSyco wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 4:02 pm Since I'm posting on this thread again, is the only way to “scan the wavetable” to use the modulation bus? When I choose LFO from the modulations it seems to do nothing. If I drag the LFO, it creates a routing and works as expected. I seem to have the same problem in a few places.
Big fan of your music, good to see you over here! can’t think of a better demo of z3 than this. Wonderful piece!exmatproton wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 8:35 pm wishing you all a lovely start of 2026.

Thanks Howard! I’ll give it a try. I checked the manual but I guess I missed that too. It seemed like such a simple thing to do, I was embarrassed to ask and I was just going to accept the mod matrix.Howard wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 8:26 pmIt sounds like you didn't turn up the modulation depth — the pair of green triangles to the left of the Curve Morph modulation selector.
