I still have mod envelope 1 and LFO1 under remove modulation. First time using Synthmaster One and i am bad at sound design so i'm not sure.
Hi there, mod env and lfo can not be detached from filter cutoff. but you can set the mod amount to center zero value.
Works at KV331 Audio
SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll
SynthMaster One voted #4 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

My first jam/experiment with presets from Synthmaster 3 Player Free
SM3PF-1 (Preset Test in 3-4).mp3

(I don't think this is the direction I'll go in, but it was a fun test. Very inspiring sounds!)

Thanks for you kind fb. It's SynthMaster 3 ... I actually used quite a lot presets this time which I usually don't do. The whole drums/percussions are presets. The seq instruments and the "sines" I did on my own.

Hi all! This is surely user error 😅 but...
Does anyone know how to remove a modulator in Synthmaster 3?
2026-01-09 20_08_30-VST3i_ SynthMaster 3 Demo (KV331 Audio) - Track 1 _SynthMaster 3 Demo_.png
I can add them, but I can't figure out how to remove, other than deleting the entire layer and starting over, or undo (useful in a few cases)
I checked all 3 context menus. I can copy, duplicate, or reset, but I can't find the remove or delete option:
  • Menu1
    2026-01-09 20_08_33-VST3i_ SynthMaster 3 Demo (KV331 Audio) - Track 1 _SynthMaster 3 Demo_.png
  • Menu2
    2026-01-09 20_08_36-VST3i_ SynthMaster 3 Demo (KV331 Audio) - Track 1 _SynthMaster 3 Demo_.png
  • Menu3
    2026-01-09 20_08_39-VST3i_ SynthMaster 3 Demo (KV331 Audio) - Track 1 _SynthMaster 3 Demo_.png
Apologies if I'm missing something simple. And thanks for any help!

P.S. I can't seem to find a manual. Can anyone confirm the existence or nonexistence of a Synthmaster 3 manual?
(I do see links to youtube tutorials, but personally I prefer pdfs that I can search and scan quickly)

There is a PDF in the SynthMaster 3 Folder (full version - not sure about the player). The file name is SynthMasterUserManual.pdf. Although it's for version 2.9.9, most of the functionality is the same.

In the "Routing" panel, you can right-click on the modulator, and select "remove module".

HEY, I figured it out! You have to switch the bottom right pane to routing view, then find the modulator, then right click, then choose remove. But first, make sure you're in TAB VIEW on the appropriate layer. BAM!

And thx for that SM2.9.9 manual tip! I'm still hopeful for a SM3 one as well. It's redesigned in some significant ways. Maybe that's in the works:)

Jinx! hahaha
But seriously, thank you so much!

Hmmm, I have the pretty deal breaking issue, that the effects parameter are not reliably safed, when saving a patch. Has anyone else observed that, or is it something I did wrong?
I designed a quite Metal snare, relying heavily on the inbuilt effects chain, but after saving and loading that patch to a new instance, all effects parameters are back to default. And now I can't recreate what I did before... :dog:
