The reverb types will behave differently with same knob positions, and it can also depend on the frequency content of the audio you're feeding into it. Tested a few presets here, any one of the 4 types will occasionally sound louder our quiter than others. I can't confirm that "Natural" always sounds quieter, it doesn't do that here, always depends on the settings.
Do you use a specific preset as your starting point?

Not here it isn't. I'm sending a full-frequency synth sound into the plug-in, and have Mix at 100% so I hear just the wet reverb part. Then go through all reverb types. And "Natural" is not quieter here. Was the preset perhaps edited at some point? Can you check if the two Gain knobs for the Early and Late part are both at full 100% ?

Actually I tested more. It's not a matter of db, but a feeling of distance always farther ("natural" must with fewer close sound than, who had guess ? "Small"
.
MaybebI would have expected a more drastic "distance" knob.

Try setting the Early/Late mix knob also to full 100% "Late", then the distance of the late reverb tale (that's what the Distance knob acts on) becomes much more apparent.
