"Reason Studios makes Reason Rack available as a separate product and introduces lower pricing"

Post

These are the most obvious, no-brainer moves that needed to be done, and I'm encouraged to see them implemented so quickly.

Lower prices far more sensible as well, the Reason+ with all the LANDR stuff included is decent value. Good start LANDR :tu:
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yeah, this is interesting. No mention if standalone purchases get the same bonuses, I'm guessing probably not:

It's available now in the shop: https://www.reasonstudios.com/get-reason

Great to hear the Rack has been freed — long overdue. Just needs better license pricing or a bunch of newer Reason Studios devices included.

the "real" prices are those at big Sales day. (around BF most often)
Check back then to see what it really is.....and how much worth the PR babble is

edit: i personally bought Reason just alone for the instrument Rack. (updated from a way old one) That´s a good move. They DO have good instruments.
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

At $199 I could definitely see the rack plugin being a good option for anyone who doesn't have Reason.

Same here. For what I paid for an upgrade to get the rack plugin and a few other bits and bobs, I wouldn't complain a bit.

I think they should also bring back Reason Suite, which included all devices. Bring it back both as Reason Suite and as Reason Suite rack plugin.

Wow that's really good news, seems like LANDR may have good direction/priorities.

I like the instruments Reason has. Among the best in the industry. And the players are pure fun and usefull.

What's a bit annoying is that some of the more unusual and exciting instruments, players, and effects from Reason are missing from Reason Rack like Objekt, Algorithm, Friction, Chord Sequencer, Bass Line Generator, or Osmium.

I would have loved to know that before buying Reason Rack.

that is why I subscribed instead of buying just the rack or reason, I wanted all that stuff

Reason Rack on subscription is actually a very good deal. All Reason Rack Devices
50 000+ Samples, Loops and Patches+ Sound Packs added weekly for under a ton yearly....

Some of us don't like subscriptions. Personally, I'm a jack-of-all, master of none, with interests that peak and wane in guitar, drums, keys, synths. I don't want to have to pay a subscription fee for opening old projects if I don't use a given piece of software for a while. I also want to pay for significant upgrades in new versions, not for superficial changes and changes that I have no interest in.
