Greetings fellow tracktioneers. I have been on a relentless search for a VSTi sampler which resembles Reasons NNXT. I have used Kontakt which is a great piece but it lacks an undo function which is very bad in my opinion. I need something like the NNXT which has the option to load samples into various "zones" on the keyboard. If only there was an NNXT VST instrument. anyone have any ideas or advice. thanks in advance.

I think there's a sampler on KVR called Paxx. Some folks swear by that.

all yr wants (apart from the undo) can be met by kontakt its much better than nnxt not shure if the undo is due to the host (reason) or nnxt but once u get the hang of it kontakt is verry good & i dont think u will miss nnxt that much atall

SFZ, and even the builtin sampler in Tracktion should be able to do that. Maybe not as intuitive as NNXT, but still...FletcherMunson wrote:load samples into various "zones"

just gonna put this out there cos I love it.. but have you considered Short Circuit? It's nothing like NN-XT... but if Tracktion was a sampler, this would it's equivalent imo! It just rocks bigtime! and it's SO easy to use... and has filters and modulation options galore!
and claes just reduced the price abit more....

i do use the mapping editor. i just hate how kontakt takes so much time to do what was so quick and simple in the NNXT. i am using intakt right now for my drums and it seems to be the better choice as far as simplicity goes but i would use kontakt if it had a GD undo feature!
thanx anyway
