I've looked around but haven't seen anyone else having this problem. My issue is that I used TX16Wx in some sessions that I created on an x64 build using Windows. I recently swapped out that machine for a Mac M4 Pro. TXW16x installs and works just fine in Pro Tools on the Mac but Pro Tools doesn't recognize the plugin as the same TX16Wx that was originally used in the older sessions.
Short of setting the old system back up and just bouncing those tracks out, is there a way to make the OSX Universal version be recognized as the correct plugin?
Thanks for any help.

I assume you are using the AAX plug-in in both cases? That is strange; The AAX plug gives the same, exact identification on all platforms. No properties or names should diff. With which version of TX were the original projects created?

The x64 version was 3.7.0f 7360.858 and the OSX Universal version is 3.7.0r 7685.1421.
And yes, they're both AAX.
I took a screenshot here to show you what I mean:
The one on top is the older one, but you can see that the OSX Universal can load just fine there underneath it.
This is what it shows right at the start of opening the session:
Thanks again.

Hm. Can you send me the pro tools session so I can investigate?
