First off, great work on MuLab, the MIDI editor is already solid, fast, and very musical. I really appreciate how lightweight and uncluttered the workflow feels.

I’d like to suggest two related features that would significantly improve MIDI composition and editing speed:
1. Ghost Notes in the MIDI Editor
It would be incredibly useful to see ghost notes from other selected MIDI clips while editing the active clip, similar to how most DAWs allow guide notes from adjacent or layered parts.

This is especially helpful for:
Writing harmonies and counter-melodies
Aligning drum parts across multiple clips
Editing layered MIDI performances with better context

2. MIDI Tools That Work Directly in the Editor
Generative and editing MIDI tools (e.g. randomize, humanize, strum, probability, transformations, etc.) working directly inside the MIDI editor would be a huge workflow boost.

Keeping these tools contextual to the editor avoids breaking creative flow and encourages experimentation.

Overall, these additions would make MuLab’s already strong MIDI workflow even more powerful and competitive, especially for modern composition and beat-making.

Thanks for the continuous development and for keeping MuLab focused on creativity first.....

That's exactly the reason why I stick on MuLab!

I fully agree to your wishes an FRs!
Ghost notes or a multiple-track view is asked for quite a while now. But we did not get it yet.
To me that seems much more important than the updates we got over the last months ... but others might feel different ...
In addition to your FRs a slight adaption of the "Logic selector" would be useful: When selecting by time, that should be within a bar ... (the current absolute time-position is completely useless as it covers one single position only).

#metoo

-mind you, not everyone is working within BAR/beats music

(and then what about audio editing, that should still be possible with(in) click precision)

It indeed is one of the most returning feature requests.
I agree it would be a great upgrade to MuLab.
It's on the wish list, and kicked upwards by the many requests.
