We’re collecting community input on microphone models you’d like to see modeled in MMicSim and have put together a short, anonymous form for anyone who’d like to participate:
MMicSim – Microphone Requests (Community Input) Form

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts! They’ll help us shape the future of MMicSim.

I use a Microtech Gefell M71 for vocals. What model am I supposed to use in MMicSim as the input mic? Any recommendations?

fwiw...a consideration of more inexpensive/cheap/low-end/etc. as source mics...use case: because we all have them (yes, you too) and applying new transforms can/will provide different outputs...I've done this for years just collecting whatever came by, both mics and IR files, then mixing and matching for something "new"...jat...Cheers!.../s~

I don't fear cheap mics ;-) Live I have used 23-Euro Behringer SM58 clones for a long time since I couldn't hear much of a difference to the original. But for studio vocals I like to catch as many details as possible so I use the Gefell.
