Dialekt Midi Export

I have Dialekt 1.0.4 and I want to export a Pattern/Part into my DAW (Logic Pro), however, when I drag the hand icon (export MIDI) into Logic, it creates 6 new random software instrument tracks that don't match the pattern/part I'm trying to export. Within settings, I only have the option to export MIDI (no option to export audio). Is there a way to just copy the part/pattern MIDI straight into a single track within my DAW?

Hi stickboyee83,
yes, each of the 8 Synth Engines sends to its individual MIDI channel.
MIDI Channel Out 1: Kick
MIDI Channel Out 2: Snare
MIDI Channel Out 3: Cymbal
MIDI Channel Out 4: Slicer
MIDI Channel Out 5: Multi
MIDI Channel Out 6: Bass
MIDI Channel Out 7: Synth
MIDI Channel Out 8: Chord
There is also an advanced MIDI Out setting that allows you to send Kick, Snare, and Hi-Hat to MIDI Channel 1 using individually assigned MIDI notes. So depending on your MIDI Out settings, 6 tracks (Drum tracks Setting -> Ch1 is active) to 8 tracks (Drum Tracks Setting -> Ch1-3 is active) will be created in Logic after using the MIDI drag-and-drop feature in Dialekt.
Directly merging all MIDI channels of Dialekt into only one channel is unfortunately not possible.
However, to combine multiple adjacent regions on the same track into a single continuous region in Logic, you can use the Logic Pro “Join” function (Cmd + J).
Since you mentioned that the exported tracks do not match the pattern/parts, could you please provide a few more details about what exactly looks different afterward?
Does this happen with all presets or only with a specific one (and if so, which one)?
Best regards,
Nadine
