Hi it's me again
I believe I have found a bug?
Connecting the parameter event generator to a note on upon note off module shows note length as an available parameter, but it doesn't work (value is not updated when the parameter event generator's knob is modified).
I then went on to try every other module to see if there were other such problems but I found no other. Except...
I went on to try and set the length parameter as a meta parameter - setting it from there works as expected. However, going outside the module and connecting an event parameter generator to it to modulate the meta parameter in question also doesn't work - the meta parameter's value does visually update, but the length parameter is unaffected.
This also provides the opportunity for another incompability: setting either frequency or volume parameters of the test sine as meta parameters also causes the same behavior.
Using either XY parameter pad, parameter value randomizer or a midi controller generator also replicates the issue.
On another note, while testing all the modules I discovered the mixer strip has two hidden L and R gain parameters.
(Bug?) Parameter event generator has two incompatibilities

A bug indeed.AlvanMerri wrote: Sat Feb 14, 2026 9:16 pm Connecting the parameter event generator to a note on upon note off module shows note length as an available parameter, but it doesn't work (value is not updated when the parameter event generator's knob is modified).
Will be fixed in the next M10.2.6.
Thx for reporting this!
Eventhough the Test Sine Generator is not really meant as a musical module, for consistency it's indeed best that it works like any other module and so this will also be fixed in the next M10.2.6.This also provides the opportunity for another incompability: setting either frequency or volume parameters of the test sine as meta parameters also causes the same behavior.

where are these located?

Go into a Rack modular area, double click an unused MP, set the target module to the mixer strip and choose a parameter: I guess if you want that strip to be two Mono signals, you could remove the MP for Gain and replace it with an MP for each of Left Gain and Right Gain, then edit the front panel to have widgets for them. Speaking of which, is there any way to collapse the panel to the space used?

As mentionned above, or alternatively (this is how I found them), connect a parameter event generator to the mixer strip. You will find Left Gain and Right Gain in your list of available parameters.
