So what, let them polish and deliver a final and workable product. I prefer that they are doing it and really trying it, even if it is taking more time than imagined or planned, instead of releasing a buggy product.

I returned Elektron Tonverk because it was really shitty on release. Granted, they are also working, and releasing updtes but man... the taste of crashes in hardware was really bad. Look up Thomann reviews. People had the same experience. I imagine they (Elektron) don't care about their solidity in the way Bitwig does.

They can take as long as they want but they released it to early, 3 months beta would be fine, longer it goes on the hype is also lost

I would love to believe people favor a stable product over "hype".

What use is for you within "hype"? Do you want a stable product or a product released within "hype" made by YouTube armchair experts? Are you for real?

Moreover, your initial argument is silly. You grant them as much time as they want, but then criticize them for not releasing it sooner or later. Besides, it is a public beta. Emphasize "public beta".

You should go offline more often in order for your brain to recollect and start using its own capacities in a more refined common form. The need for hype and consuming hype made you irrational.

The hype is beneficial for Bitwig, not users. When they demoed v6 there was a certain amount of word-of-mouth marketing happening on YouTube and the like. If they had released soon after they could have capitalised on this more effectively than they can now.

Pretty sure that's all the person you're replying to you was saying.

It's been a long time coming... hopefully the long beta means a quality release.

With every previous release there have been people saying "this doesn't do anything for me, when are you going to work on core features or [insert specific wish here]?"

Well... I use Bitwig primarily for live recording. I don't use clips at all. I don't use MIDI sequencing except for loops generated by specific plugins (Seqund, Harmony Bloom etc.).

I do most of my sound edits in Sound Forge; when I use Bitwig for editing the already existing automation tools were totally fine.

I hope these upgrades make a lot of folks happy, but for me I'm anticipating just cosmetic changes. I'm still hoping for a couple of significant feature and QOL upgrades for the Grid in the future...

I am hoping for an Auto Divisi Device! Imagine setting up a section of complementary instruments and then being able to simply play chords into a Director Track that hosts the Divisi Device. You have ticked boxes in the DD for in what (note number) order the notes of your chords shall be distributed among the group of monophonic instruments selected. With all the onboard whistles and bells, it is surprising that Bitwig hasn't yet made a Devisi Device.

Should be fine. I've been using it for months and haven't hit an issue.
