I've tried multiple inputs and it's an unreliable pain with Waveform. These days, I play it live and bounce the track with the INSERT plugin.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Some of this is frankly my head, but still you folks see the issue I am running into here. Thanks for your help! The notes that my guitar controller spits out are of different lengths and note values- they are not the notes I was trying to play, so merging them wouldn't help. The option that was suggested, "select all notes where note_length < 0,0,5" is the best choice for me and would solve the issue I think!

If was possible to do that, I would 100% recommend it. TSC would need to add that functionality.Mark Swanson wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 2:57 pm The option that was suggested, "select all notes where note_length < 0,0,5" is the best choice for me and would solve the issue I think!
Until then, I think your best option is to use the Event List to find a short note, select it (by clicking on the word "Note"), then use the "Select all notes with the same length" and delete. If they're all less than 0,0,5 then you'd only need to do it four times.
You can also use the MIDI Editor, but in my opinion it's easier to find specific short notes in a list view. You have to be zoomed in a lot to even see them in the MIDI Editor.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Pough, how do.you use the list view? This sounds like an obvious feature I've never noticed.

Do you mean how do you open it? It's in the view menu -> Show MIDI Event List. (Pro version, only.) I created a hotkey to open it (Alt E) because I use it a fair amount. Just search for the word "list" in the Settings -> Keyboard Shortcuts.Watchful wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 6:45 pm Pough, how do.you use the list view? Amateur Tip: the data in it can look cramped but it's resizable by dragging the right/bottom edges.

I didn't know about that. I'll have to check that out. Thanks!
