Maybe a button to switch between 2 modes; A: as it is (because it is very handy to quickly dial in) and B: all stepsUrs wrote: Sun Feb 15, 2026 11:27 am [
I have a ticket for that. To at least let people select more odd values, or maybe all step sizes from 2 to 128.
Just a thought

I think I have an idea for this: The knob works just like it does now, but with shift you get single step increments.exmatproton wrote: Sun Feb 15, 2026 10:31 pmMaybe a button to switch between 2 modes; A: as it is (because it is very handy to quickly dial in) and B: all stepsUrs wrote: Sun Feb 15, 2026 11:27 am [

It would preserve the ease of dealing in very common step sizes, but still allow for anything in between if needed.

Hey Urs, hey erveryone,
i wanted to have some modulation arpegiator, just to let the mapper running through (quantised 1/4th, 1/8th and so on). I was helping it, that i set mapper triggering mode to quantise and let it be triggered by an LFO saw. Im using Linux, Im using Bitwig-Studio. It seems to run not really clean, there are some crackles and artefacts.
What error in reasoning i have? Parameters of OSC are precise, 2Khz and all i was thinking of, that would help.
I also found, that using MSEG as an Envelope was bringing crackles and artefacts. Sorry if i bring up some issues that have been already discussed in the forum.

Ahh, great solution! There are currently mainly many powers of two values.
Did see it, disabling them works perfect.

Just not sure if I get to do it before the release, or next version after... extremely busy...exmatproton wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 5:26 pmAhh, great solution! Map-o-Matic - is it possible to do negative RePhase? Maybe I don't know how to use it correctly, I want to be able to do "Bend -" like Serumjasperdunn wrote: Sat Feb 14, 2026 10:08 pm Some oscillator effect feedback, I'd love it if these were possible:
- the Zoom Out oscillator effect could zoom all the way out
- the Sync oscillator range stopped at an octave, currently it goes slightly over the octave when it's at 100%

- Phase Distortion - are we going to be able to use Curves and Guides here eventually?
You can already do this, you can bend the waveform however you want:

Yes! How else are you phase distorting the sine wave? You can use the curves, I don't see why you would need both.

Few more requests Urs:
A slight color change for if a modulation is positive or negative (the color that goes around the knobs) Its hard to tell which way is which.
Add ModNoise as an additional mod source in Phase distortion (I've been playing with my CZ synth and it allows noise as an extra modulator, really cool sounds)
A slight "R" or something over the MSEG release dot. I may just be using MSEG wrong, the 2 orange sliders at the top are for looping...but also where the release occurs?
We should be able to merely click on the modulation box and have the destination light up, not have to click the knob.
Any reason why the same editing stamps/features aren't available for Guides?
Best,
Joe

The release is not the loop, but whatever is after the loop - if nothing, add another segment there

Are you sure you have the latest beta? Because that is already happening...?muki wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 3:51 amhover (over the modulation box) would be even cooler imhoJoeLowery215 wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 7:17 pm We should be able to merely click on the modulation box and have the destination light up, not have to click the knob.

The default release behaviour ("Continue") does not immediately jump to the loop end on release - the MSEG first finishes attack and loop, depending on where it currently is. I guess that is why people might be confused, but it certainly is the best default behaviour.Touch The Universe wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 3:55 am The release is not the loop, but whatever is after the loop - if nothing, add another segment there

Bought Z3 awhile back, but never really found a way to midi map the arrows for changing patches, do u-he synths have an option to midi learn the arrows < > for changing presets like TAL synths ?
