Yes I have tried the Virtual JV. I own a hardware JV880 and find them very close in sound. The advantage goes to the plugin for me since I find working with hardware far too tedious these days after being spoiled by the "in the box" experience for the last twenty five years.Uncle E wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 7:07 pm Thanks! I don't know if they'll show up any time soon. Have you tried Virtual JV yet? As a die-hard JD-990 user, I love it.

I find JRR Shop is frequently the cheapest. Even if it's a couple of dollars more at JRR I prefer to support someone who is active here over a vendor like Plugin Boutique who is never active here. But then I believe in being loyal to companies I like which are few and far between these days.
The issue for me is that most of those freebies are what I call "third tier" plugins. More toys than tools but of course there are the rare exceptions.
I could have purchased the D-50 from Plugin Boutique and got a freebie I'll never use but I feel better having purchased from JRR not only because it was less expensive by a couple of dollars but also to support someone who as I said earlier is "one of us".

I did switch to Audiodeluxe some years ago becourse they still dont charge vat/tax overseas
25 pct saved always
On top of that their reward-system and exclusive deals are by far better for me
Every now and then I use other shops also ,.. but Audiodeluxe wins the order most often

Please let me know if we're collecting VAT on something that others aren't. That means that I can remove it, too. I only collect VAT on the companies that required me to do it at some point, but they may have changed their policies without telling me.HM wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 3:59 pm I did switch to Audiodeluxe some years ago becourse they still dont charge vat/tax overseas

BTW, AudioDeluxe´s biggest convenience for me is that they allow payment by credit card. If using Revolut the exchange rate is much more favourable than Paypal´s. If the difference isn't huge (thanks FORUM/GROUP ones!), I buy from JRR.

You can add the Card to PayPal and override PayPal to charge it in the vendor's currency. That way best of both, better protection and rates.Download SOphist wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 8:46 pmBTW, AudioDeluxe´s biggest convenience for me is that they allow payment by credit card. Sonible puffer:fish saturation plugin for free
https://www.sonible.com/pufferfish/
puffer:fish is a free saturation plugin made to encourage play, curiosity, and bold ideas. In a way, it is a lot like the sonible team itself: serious about sound quality, with plenty of room for a good laugh along the way.

I'd judge even a 5 year old for finding this crap even remotely amusing.like the sonible team itself: serious about sound quality, with plenty of room for a good laugh along the way.
