TRACTION SOFTWARE ANNOUNCE THE WAVEFORM 13.5.25 BETA RELEASE

13.5.25
- Windows: Fixed another edge case introduced in 13.5.22 where opening another window would freeze other windows with specific Windows scale settings

13.5.24
- Windows: Fixed another unsolved issue introduced in 13.5.22 where opening another window would freeze other windows

- Templates: Fixed the Singer Songwriter template from not loading on some machines
- ReWire: Fixed ReWire not being enabled on Windows machines (may need toggling on and off from the Plugins setting panel and permissions updating on newer Windows machines)
- Windows: Fixed an issue introduced in 13.5.22 where opening another window would freeze other windows

13.5.22
- UI: Fixed master levels not showing the "Default audio output" channels
- UI: Improved UI responsiveness
- Linux: Fixed an issue where plugin incorrectly reporting their XEMBED_MAPPED value would appear blank

On Linux Ubuntu 25.10 I can confirm the posted beta of Waveform (13.5.25) for me has fixed the blank white GUI for the native free MT Power drum kit II plugin, it now works as expected. so great job fixing this.
One thing that is not working with the MT Power drum kit II plugin is dragging the midi patterns from the plugin onto a track in Waveform, nothing happens, I tried it in Reaper and it works as expected. So not sure if this is a Waveform problem or the Plugin?
This is on Linux Ubuntu 25.10

I'm also testing this new Beta on Ubuntu 25.10. I can reliably crash Waveform with the u-he Diva plugin. One added to a project I can open the plugin once or twice, and the next time I try to open it Waveform crashes and restarts. I have tried to enable the plugin sandbox but when enabled my project never loads so sandboxing seems to be non-functional too. These are not new issues with the latest beta but is pretty much a show-stopper for regular use of this plugin in Waveform, at least on Linux.
Ryzen 5 8600G, 32GB DDR5, 4K, Ubuntu 26.04, Waveform Pro 13.5, Reaper 7, Ardour 9.

Doh! I realised I'd missed a step when I recently re-installed Ubuntu, and so I solved both issues by adding my user to the audio group and then adding the following to /etc/security/limits.conf:

@audio - rtprio 95
@audio - memlock unlimited

I'm on Debian 13, and in V 13.5.21 no VST, VST3 or LADSPA plugins would load. But LV2 plugins would load.

In the this version (v13.5.25 BETA) LV2 and VST plugins will load. but most VST3 and all LADSPA plugins will not load.

Found an old version ( v13.5.8 ) and everything loads correctly.

I'm pretty sure all plugins worked in previous versions of Waveform 13, but I did not save the .deb for it.
