Rack Filter and levels question

OK I have a midi of a drum track downloaded with each part in a separate track - fine. I want to shove these through an sfz plugin, so set up a rack with an sfz wrapper all ok, but the levels are nuts (output is distorting) - is there an easy way to drop the level of all the wrapped inputs or outputs at once or do I have to tweak each one manually ?
thanks
Tim

are you using this as a multi-out, or do you have one set of stereo outs hooked up to lots of different rack outputs?
(I don;t use sfz much so I can't recall if it is multi-out or not).

Well, if you don't know what Valley meant you're probably just using the first two outs of the rack, even if there are more..
In which case the easiest way to drop the level is probably with the rack filter's "wet" control: drop this by a few db..
Alternatively you could add Vol / Pan filters inside the rack, the advantage being that they will be saved with the rack for any future use..

If we're talking the freeware sfz, it's stereo only.
Only sfz+ (the paid version) is multi out.
timmyo - if your'e not using different output of the plugin, you don't need rack filters. Just route all the MIDI track to a track with sfz. That's it.

Ah - that makes more sense - doh.spacefox wrote:If we're talking the freeware sfz, it's stereo only.

I think I got in to 'aha - I can use a rack' syndrome
Thanks to all who took the time to post - much appreciated,
Tim
