My first computer. If I'd never gotten it, I wouldn't have fallen into this rabbit hole and spent who knows how much on music-making stuff. Would've been a much better guitar player but nooo, had to start messing about with synthesizers and all sorts of effects.... now I dream of tangerines all of the time.

xpand2 for 30(!) bucks. I was just starting out and I thought that would be cheap enough. In the same year it dropped on a different sale to 10. I didn't used it since end of 2023.
Also LoFi Panda 3, 30 or 40 bucks. I just had my LoFi phase and I didn't had any Komplete Bundles, so I thought it would be cool to have something what is fitting out of the box. But in the end, I used it 4 times and since 2,5 years its installed, but I never got back to it.
Oh and maybe also Komplete 14 Ultimate. The bundle is good, basically. But it's just too much. I wanted libraries that were only included in the Ultimate bundle, and if I had bought them individually, it would have been more expensive. So I pulled the trigger. (with 50% off of course)

Did they come with batteries?
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

They work perfectly with a Fat Compressor.

I have to give Klevgrand credit for making older plugins like GotoEQ and Korvpressor resizable.monophonK wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 7:17 pm 1. Looking back, unfortunately Klevgrand.
They keep coming up with exciting new plugins, but the older ones like Korvpressor, Grand Finale and GotoEQ haven't been maintained for a long time (For example, scalability) Klevgrand plugins are musical and creative, but feel more like handy extras than essential tools.
2. I'm glad I don't have any more discoDSP products. The plugins do receive regular updates, but the prices and the whole incomprehensible situation surrounding them—no, thank you.
It would be nice if the user interface had been further optimized, as GotoEQ in particular loses some sharpness when enlarged.
