Just bought it.
Really liking it to get some surprising results to get you out of yourself!
Congrats to AudioMap!
Download/install/authorize without issue and it just works as expected.

If I download the demo again, will it be the new version? Looking at your update notes, there's a strong chance I will buy it. Just want to test some things.

Seems pretty cool but slightly unintuitive, read the help and messed for awhile and could not for the life of me figure out how to get the gesture or midi plot to play. Just some feedback, love the idea tho.

I can see that given that gesture position isn't exposed as a slider (tried to not clutter the interface), you can find it (along with others) as a vst parameterZoopy wrote: Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:29 pm Seems pretty cool but slightly unintuitive, read the help and messed for awhile and could not for the life of me figure out how to get the gesture or midi plot to play. Hey, just tried the demo and I really like it but unfortunately it only supports samples up to 30 seconds long? I would get a lot of use out of this if there were no limitation on the time of samples.

Very interesting!
It seems to work very well.
Is it possible to select a bunch of samples from the "cloud" (the main zone), and copy/paste/move them to a folder? Or can you "just" drag & drop them into the DAW or a sampler VSTi ?

If you however mean Folders as in the right panel, not currently, perhaps later down the line.
Thank you! 30s cap is for performance reasons (because it loads into memory to be able to quickly "play" your sample library without issues) - if I removed the cap completely and let's say your single sample was 1h long, that would take a lot your memory and potentially slow down your system quickly. What do you think would work? Perhaps a setting that lets you change the cap at your own risk? Is it drone/field recording music that you work with?bths80 wrote: Sat Feb 21, 2026 11:01 pm Hey, just tried the demo and I really like it but unfortunately it only supports samples up to 30 seconds long? Comments like these are quite good, I never thought somebody would have a need to play longer samples, but I was wrong, hah.

Yeah, I create my own samples (and field recordings) and have a large folder library that can be tiring to navigate, so this manager would be quite helpful. An optional setting that you can adjust the cap, say up to 1hr, would be perfect even at the expense of potential slowdown. Cheers
Edit: I'm not sure if it works this way, is it possible to have one folder open at a time displaying the dots and freeing up ram?

Quick but significant update addressing feedback, existing users can download from the same folder.
- XY Cursor automation parameters: two new parameters that can simulate a mouse moving around and trigger samples
- MIDI CC mapping: CC1 controls gesture position, CC2/3 control Cursor X/Y
- Gesture position slider
- Folders panel toggle button (>>/<<) to hide/show right panel
- Enter key now confirms group name input
- Setting: "Mouse to Animation" changes Cursor X/Y parameters depending on mouse hover positions, allowing users to record a "performance" in DAW
- Setting: "Remove 30s playback cap" lets user load longer files at the expense of memory usage
- Setting: "Cursor leave preview" to keep sample playing even if mouse is far away

Thank you. So far I like it!
Two questions :
- Can the software detect similar sounding samples (I mean, it's obviously somewhat one of the purpose of the app, but apart from zooming in on a narrow region where similar samples will be displayed, can it group them, sort them, find identical-sounding ones, etc)?
- Is it possible to exclude loops (or : can the software detect loops vs one-shots, and if so, is it possible to display either one kind of the other?)

1. this will come in the future as it will require a bit of work to implement and will need to potentially make it a separate analysis since it can impact performance. But it has been requested.
2. Not yet given that I never needed this function in my own music but I can see why several people have already requested it. I'm trying to not clutter the GUI, where do you think it would fit?
