It would be cool to have readouts of the EQ parameters though, like frequency and dB.

Also, what's the "mewi..." control in the compressor?

Thanks for the plugin!
Chris doesn't really label his controls that way either (frequency and dB) especially for the plugins I picked. So I did "Pultec" style and gave all of them a 0 to 10 or -10 to 10.

Mewiness controls the compression ratio behavior and character.

There is a Mac version (and Windows) but no CLAP yet. I'm waiting until it is officially supported by JUCE to make a CLAP version.

Mac requires the usual trick of having to remove the quarantine flag:

Code: Select all

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/NineStrip.vst3

I've been using the same AirWindows plugins in every mix for ages, so I decided to combine them into a single channel strip plugin with a proper UI and preset system....

This looks awesome!! Thank you for supporting Linux!! Does the framework scale up for high resolution monitors? What framework did you use?
JUCE is the framework.
I would be very interested to know how it behaves with high resolution monitors.
(in fairness, I would be very interested to know if it behaves on anything else but where I tested it -> Linux and Bitwig!)

I have wooden ears but from Input VU youre slamming this, would it sound different with a more restrained signal?
Yup, I do that. Goes to extreme to see how it behaves and affects the audio/track. It's in the disclaimer ;-).
But if you watch around 3.18ish, you will see that I adjust the input to hit 0 on VU. Thanks for the feedback.
