NI / 10 Phantom Rooms just dropped a new drum machine for Kontakt.


Personally, I hard-pass anything drum-related that runs inside the Kontakt engine, just not my thing workflow-wise. Sound and interface are solid though.

I'm not quite fully passing on Kontakt yet but I'd rather have some modular tube drum thingy in Reaktor...

it's an NKS-partner-instruments. vouchers usually don't work for these. unfortunatelly.

You're probably right, but aren't all NI libraries made by someone else? I don't quite know what use the voucher is

Yes, you're right. It's just a bummer. Would've been great for $24.

Sounds interesting but you have to process the sound further for making it punch more. Looking forward to some yt reviews but it's not a must have for me.

You're probably right, but aren't all NI libraries made by someone else? I don't quite know what use the voucher is

actually not much, if you're not into hiphop or acoustic instruments. the play series works with the voucher, the session (guitar, bass, drums, etc.) and a few others. not much for an electronic musician like me (and i have most of the electronic orientated play-packs).
