Hi,

I tried to install the latest version of Zebra 2 on an Ubuntu and a Linux Mint machine, but I do get and error.

Code: Select all

Zebra_Legacy_294_16765_Linux/01 Zebra2/Zebra2_294_16765_Linux/Zebra2-16765/install.sh: linha 7: cd: demasiados argumentos
Too many arguments on line 7 in the install.sh, it seems.

Thanks in advance.

You may have to "click" the installer in your DE

Thanks!
But what do you mean by "click"?

If I click with the left click with the mouse it does open the file in the text editor, if I try to execute it (right click, execute as) it opens the terminal with the same error.

This error appear with both the latest Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

I don't use much desktop Linux anymore, however IIRC the u-he installers can't be run directly from a terminal.
I just checked the zebra 2 installer in Ubuntu 25.10. After extracting the archive, left clicking install.sh did indeed open it in a text editor so instead I right clicked and chose "run as a program" and the installer ran properly.
Which Desktop Environment are you using?

Running the installer via Terminal is the proper way.
Simply cd to the directory of the installer, and then type ./install.sh to run the script.

I am using Gnome, but IIRC it all happened with Cinnamon on Linux Mint.
Both on they latest version.

Please cd into the directory of the install.sh script before running it. This way the installation should work.

Thanks, but I may be misunderstanding you as it still does not work, it tells me that
it is not a folder.

Sorry, I might not have expressed this clearly.
You need to cd into the folder that contains the install.sh script.
I.e. into this one (copied that from your first post): Zebra_Legacy_294_16765_Linux/01 Zebra2/Zebra2_294_16765_Linux/Zebra2-16765
And once you are in this folder, you can run the install script by typing ./install.sh
