Beno, more details please...
Would the Quick time video be displayed on a track, timeline style with timing ref, or just a playback window?
Please tell

Wow - awesome stuff! Simplifying sends is a great idea. They work ok in racks (except for the added latency), but its not really ideal from a user-interface and intuitiveness perspective.
And the Quicktime is great too, maybe I'll find a way to use it and make some $ as well

Whatever the price I think it will offer some of the best collection of Audio and midi tools in one host and still be cheaper than the competition.haydxn wrote:i agree i REALLY want to know the price now
I am not sure of course but I think surround and /or DVD burning have made their way into T2.
Of course Beno will not be able to confirm or deny that, until after NAMM maybe...
Keep up the good work Beno you have been busy on the Mackie support site as well!

Hi Beno,
Do you think you could tell us more about how the send/return system is going to work?
You've no doubt noticed the prevelance of discussion about the mixer paradigm around here in last day or two, so this is a timely announcement

Why would dvd burning make it into tracktion? Quicktime isn't a dvd format. It's like expecting T2 to be a word processor because they also run on a computer.
There are lots of cheap/free dvd burning solutions, the last thing we need is Tracktion development time being spent making something that already exists.

Hey, Beno, you forgot to mention the improved looping capabilities in T2. That was supposed to be announced today
Quicktime support is great! And as much as I wish I could love racks, conventional sends is a great addition! Awesome news!

I have little need for either of the new features, but I'm just shocked to see so many major features making it into this release. I knew Jules was going to get stuff done, but this is way beyond anything I expected.
Damn, I can't wait for NAMM this year!
