MAutoDynamicEQ pitch detection broken

I want a band to follow a sidechain input (eg from bass) in order to create dynamic SC compression. Thing is, the frequency detector does a horrible job. The band is anywhere but near the incoming frequency from the sidechain. Even with a simple sine bass (one frequency to recognize) does not work. I use a parameter; settings: EQ band Frequency, Range Mode: Interval, Value from 20hz to 20khz (full range). Side-Chain button on "detector" is enabled, min & maximum recognized is full spectrum. But tried all possible settings. Nothing helps. Please, can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong or is the plugin broken? Not that I think it matters but I have the issue on both DAWs I use, Bitwig and FL. Latest version is installed. Windows.

It's hard to say what it could be, as there are so many variables. Could you please send a simple project (Bitwig is good) to our support, and I will find out what is going wrong for you. Thanks
