@EnGee....my sincere apologies for getting your post count wrong. As to the rest of you lot, not so much. This thread was already entirely de-railed and off topic. Please feel free to get back to your deep metaphysical musings......I'm out.
No worries! It means nothing to me!
The thing is that RexXx has already answered you with an illustration. I must say it is Fender's fault to scare the new comers by this message!
Also, I knew (and others) you are on Windows because it is obvious from the images you posted. For me, I have three OSes to use, Windows, Mac and Linux. Let's forget about Linux for now, but I know for sure you are on Windows and never assumed you are on Mac. Actually, there is no such option on Mac because it is automatically scaled up (with somehow blurry GUI but not as much as in Windows).
Just follow RexXx's instructions and I garantee you that nothing bad will happen
Cheers,
NG

Thanks NG. No worries and again my apologies I have no issues with you. It was actually Bones that made the incorrect assumption I was on a Mac. I only brought the issue here because I got no constructive answers on the Fender/Presonus forum. No one there suggested changing the DPI setting of the plugin itself with Fender Studio. But, as you noticed in my earlier post it produced a message warning of issues of instability which I was simply not willing to risk for a DAW I do not even use regularly. I simply trying to report a bug and find a solution that might help others that find themselves in a similar situation.
Oh, and get a thoroughly off-topic thread back on track......LOL!!
In any case, thank you for debunking Fender's alarmist warning message, It's good to know
that when and/or if I decide to "upgrade" to Fender Studio, I now, (finally thank you!!), have a safe and effective solution to what would be a real problem for me.
Cheers.....CL

Btw., the per plugin scaling option in the plugin window exist at least since Studio One v5.
You get the same notification when you enable it for a plugin in S1 v6. In S1 v5 there was no notification.

It`s not a bug... it`s a feature!

Thanks for the initial suggestion and the heads up but I would have no way of knowing that since this never happened to me in any version of S1 V6 and therefore I never had the need to enable DPI. I also know nothing about this behavior in v5 since I upgraded to v6 from v4 where it also never occurred. In any case, as EnGee pointed out, the warning can safely be ignored so this is a now a non-issue. Especially seeing as how it does not occur in my installation of v6.6.4 and I only used Fender Studio for testing purposes which led me to decide that for now, at least, there is no reason for me to consider "upgrading".You get the same notification when you enable it for a plugin in S1 v6. In S1 v5 there was no notification.
Thanks again!

The way your drop-down menus display looks quite different to mine or the way I've ever seen them on any application, all bunched up and ugly. At first I thought it might have been Linux but macOS seemed more likely so that's where I went with it. This is how it should look -CapnLockheed wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 3:42 am I don't understand what would make you think I'm on a macOS.
But that's the value of putting your set-up in your signature - you don't have to explain it when you have a problem and anyone who might want to help you can see immediately what you're using.
No, just rude and ungrateful. You think I'm angry?
OK, but if you choose to put yourself in that situation by using the wrong equipment, you shouldn't be surprised when you encounter problems. You can make it someone else's problem and hope they get around to addressing it or you can fix it yourself by using more appropriate equipment. It ain't rocket science. All I got was a bunch of snarky condescending, accusatory responses and a few potentially risky solutions.
I did but it's only a problem when you scale your display. If you work at native resolution, these things don't happen. The whole idea of screen scaling is f**king stupid but Apple does it, and markets it brilliantly (as they always do) and then everyone else has to do it, too. It makes no sense but people are mindless sheep so it happens anyway.CapnLockheed wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 12:01 amDid you not actually READ my OP?? No problem in ANY other host including Presonus Studio One 6.6.4. AND a genuine real life FENDER MOD admitted it's a problem with the DAW.![]()

Hey, BONES just wants to help!
Also, how well does FSP function on a 27 inch 4K screen? Because you guys are talking about scaling, and I have only used it on standard 1920 type of screen.

The correct phrase is: "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Last century it wasn't an issue as we were all still using CRTs. It's only been an issue since Apple decided to make "cinema" screens with more pixels than anyone needed because they knew their customers were dumb enough to believe it was an improvement worth paying a silly premium for.CapnLockheed wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 6:19 pmAnd thanks for the lecture.
