Mdrummer doesn't seem to recognize B4 kits as importable. Is this correct? I can still import the B4 sample libraries.
As a workaround is there any chance to add some parameters to limit/direct the Mdrummer Generate Drumset function. I would like to create random Drumsets of a specified size only using samples with specified tags. If I want to create a large percussion kit, I could generate a 48 piece kit using only the tag Perc or similar. If I wanted 808, 606, 707, or mixed...kits i could specify one or more of those. I know these might probably wouldn't adhere to the General MIDI standard but it would give me a place to work from. Thanks

I'm afraid the B4 import is kinda ancient thing, NI may have changed the format etc. and we can't really dedicate any dev time to that.
I quite don't understand the other question.

I would like to use the drumset generator function to create a specific type of drumset based on the sample tagging system that is used during the Mdrummer sample import. Say for instance I want to generate a drumset using only 808 drum samples. I could tell Mdrummer to generate a drumset but only use samples with 808 in the sample name. Mdrummer would find the kicks, snares, toms ...., based on the sample name having things like kick, snr, tom... but would only use samples that also had 808 in the sample name.

If I wanted to create a random percussion drumset I could tell Mdrummer to use only samples with perc, tabla, block, quijado, .... and tell it to create this drumset with 48 pieces. Then I would get a semi random 48 piece percussion drumset.

Hope this is more clear. Thanks
