The only thing I'm missing from rack filters is some kind of auto-route feature.

Can you just confirm how the send/return setup works with regard to Freeze function (which I am assuming is largely unchanged?). Thanks!
Works just like it did with Rack filters that is, Freezing only the send track removes the signal being sent to the filter, so, you need to freeze the return track as well as the send track.

Amazing. Simply Amazing. Improved midi and sends. Everything I wanted from T2.

I have wanted video support for a long time but always thought it was too much to ask for. I guess not.

They laughed when Jules said he's in it for World Domination. They aren't laughing now. :D

I say we break down the doors at NAMM! Who's with me?

that's just wrong! :-o
I'm trying to reclaim very dodgy phrases, turn them around, and by cunning juxtaposition of context, make them strangely, if knowingly, hip again. A bit like Spike Lee or Tarantino did in their films ...

... er, it's not working, is it?
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

it probably just needs Samuel L. Jackson...

HI

I wonder if Tracktion will be sizeable for 2 monitors (scaleable interface?)- this could be very usefull along with the ability to move the midi view to a second screen or might this be beyond the concept of a single page format?

Flipper.

Beno wrote:Rack filters are of course still there. Afew minor tweeks but nothing major. They were flexible enough before weren't they?

Ben
Feedback please :D

@beno : is there a volumeslider for the aux sends directly on the filtericon (like the one for volume) ? that would be great. and how does freezing the returntrack work. will it freeze all the sending tracks too ?

Flipper.
This is what i got from the Mackie site.

Scalable Interface:
Tracktion 2's single-screen interface can be scaled to virtually any size, permitting users of large monitors to devote some of those pixels to other applications, while still keeping an eye on Tracktion. Thanks to a unique vector graphics based approach, the interface simply shrinks or expands with minimal scroll bar

yeah, I don't watch it that often, mostly cos I don't watch much TV, but if it's on when I walk through the room I normally end up pulling up a chair. :)

All this is excellent news. The aux sends & returns answer my need for flexible routing and may obviate the need for a mixer. Quicktime I worry about though - I hope it is more Windows friendly than it usd to be. I had banned it from my DAW a while back. Sonar supports QT, so I may risk installing it. :scared: Anyone had good experience with QT on WinXP?
