Hi all,

a new beta has landed - still same UI, but loads of fixes and now about 900 presets (still WIP, but getting there...):

I will probably think about something at some point, but unfortunately not for the initial release...

Thank you!

omg some presets are soooo good,
I find presets and can't stop playing them for several minutes like Brazzy Fluegel Horn when use mw it's insane, then Eternity Divides , so beautiful pad and the Atmospheres Presets are dope. It will take me more than a month to enjoy Zebra 3 beta presets and improvise.
Will there be even more presets in full version?

Also, preset browsing and CPU in general... everything is much faster now as we're approaching the final version.

The biggest changes are to be expected in the UI, and there's quite a trove of presets that are still being worked on.

I reported this issue before but it was never addressed. Drag and Drop of single cycle .wav files does not work in either Waveform Pro 13 or FL Studio 25 (Win 11).

Here is a video showing the issue:

Zebra 3

Here is a video showing that D&D does work with DUNE 3:

Dune 3

So either I'm doing something wrong or this is a bug.

Drag and drop of single cycle waveform works by dropping the cycle on the waveform itself, not the preview. Dunno about FL's built-in browser (I don't know where to find it), but dragging a waveform from Finder onto the editor works in FL Studio (Mac) here.

Thanks but where is the waveform itself?

As you can see in the video below trying to drop the sample on the waveform yields a circle with a line through it, the universal sign for "can't" but trying to drop it on the block yields a plus sign indicating it should work:

Zebra 3 #2

Here's what the manual says:

To import a .wav file, drag & drop the file onto the oscillator editor. Single cycle files will be
recognized as such and will only replace the currently selected Curve, while multi-cycle samples
will replace the Curve Set.

I do not know why the + sign comes up in the selector, I need to ask my team about that.

But yeah, I found the browser and some waveforms, and apparently dragging from FL has a different drag'n'drop attribute than from the Finder (it's a "copy" operation as opposed to "generic", whatever that means, gotta ask the team again). It was easy enough to just allow the editor to receive both "copy" and "generic", so now it works here and will certainly also work in the next beta and final versions 8)

Ok thanks that's great. Just so you know the same thing happens in Tracktion Waveform Pro 13.5.

EDIT: I just checked and D&D does work in Abelton Live Lite 12.

I don't have Waveform on my computer, but I guess it's probably the same issue. I've mentioned Waveform it in the ticket, so I guess the guys will check it out.

FYI there is a fully functional free version of Tracktion Waveform for the guys to use for testing.
