right-click the knobs on the performance pageSampleconstruct wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 3:39 pmI see. How do we “bake“ them in?Urs wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 3:23 pmYes. Unfortunately when we tried saving the controllers like macros, things became rather confusing when using in conjunction with MIDI. It was quite a bit "uhm what's happening here?" - so we rolled it back...Sampleconstruct wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 2:56 pm The controllers still don't remember their saved states
We'll keep experimenting, but it may not work out. In any case, one can "bake" the Controls into the patch, and then add the Controls to something else.

Opening and closing much faster now, my only issue with it has been resolved. HAPPY!!

Also, preset browsing and CPU in general... everything is much faster now as we're approaching the final version.
The biggest changes are to be expected in the UI, and there's quite a trove of presets that are still being worked on.

This is already fantastic... will fantasticest be a new word by the time it is officially released? ..
Figured Howard is just been busy and the majority of his presets for instance hasn't come in yet.

Well, you use a replacement cursor by highlighting something else that appears to follow the mouse...EvilDragon wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 3:31 pmWe do this in Surge XT, it's consistent UX according to the name of the option. If you hide the cursor when dragging, it happens everywhere, in step sequencer table as well as sliders and when editing MSEG nodes. ^_^;

Amazing thanks Urs..
I guess there's no way I can think to use dual wave/sync/window and phase distortion to mix to waves to have those cool windowed reso waveforms (from the CZ) as only half of the waveform like in the Casio?

Oh also, why isn't there a curve shape for a pure sine wave? I know you have sine-o-matic but it doesn't seem to work all the time. Especially if you're adding the sine wave shape to small areas

you can use the OSC editor to create a perfect 1 cycle sine. The editor has tools for the most basic shapesJoeLowery215 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:14 pm Oh also, why isn't there a curve shape for a pure sine wave? Thanks for the update !
a question bevore i can install:
i have installed some third party module presets ( free / was posted here at some place)....i do not remember the place of the folder and can´t find it.
Do i have to backup these module presets first,....is a new install overwriting the whole folder ?
where can i find the Folder ? ( Mac in my case)

... and you're highlighting steps in the mapper. So realistically this could also work in Z3 much in the same way, I'd sayUrs wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 5:05 pmWell, you use a replacement cursor by highlighting something else that appears to follow the mouse...EvilDragon wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 3:31 pmWe do this in Surge XT, it's consistent UX according to the name of the option. It's not a perfect sine, it's slightly bentexmatproton wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:19 pmyou can use the OSC editor to create a perfect 1 cycle sine. I think a cool way to do this would be able to able Sync to only one area of a curve, so you could essentially apply it to only half of a curve. Don't think anyone has done that before.JoeLowery215 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:11 pm Amazing thanks Urs..

I'm not sure where to post this, and i understand we are rather beyond introducing totally new features,
but i would love an FX module that is dedicated to feedback:
I'll explain: i was trying to make some dub style effects that often have feedback chains combining feedback with say a phaser and other fx in the feedback loop. I can put a delay and phaser in series, but it's not the same. So an fx module call it 'teleport' lol. teleport 1 sets a point in a chain where a feedback send is created, teleport 2 module is the receiving end, this one can maybe have a feedback intensity/ + dry-wet knob. Ideally some kind of Tanh limiting curve oe clipping with treshold for keeping the runaway fb in check.
I'm not a coder and not sure how tricky this would be to implement, as it might mess with the linear audio processing sequence & path. But maybe a nice idea for some future time?
Only had 5 mins with the new firmware yet, but the ringmod is now displaying its frequency in Hz. kinda cool but before i knew that values like 24, 48 for example had a 1_1 ratio when tracking pitch. I kind of miss that. You can ofcourse do it by ear, but before, values & multiples of like 5, 7, 12 like in pitches allowed you to know the kind of stable centres quickly.
