Hey, MuTools. (Why isn't MuLab more popular?)

Well the biggest cost would be for travel and lodging of course, there is a membership fee, I think it varies depending on what applies to you (as low as $150 I guess, annual). Exhibitors must have 2 million in insurance apparently, another significant cost. Id guess you could easily spend $20k on a NAMM trip.

Thank you, interesting stuff to consider here. I did not think it would be cheap.

TBH, I don't really see MuLab's UI as being significantly different looking than most other DAW's. If you look at it objectively, the shapes in general are very similar, the basic layout as well, e.g. browser area, track area, mixer area, live cells etc. I mean c'mon, if you were an an extra terrestrial DJ, looking at Mulab next to any other DAW, do you really think they would look so different?
I think the big thing that MuLab lacks, is detailed metering and dock-able visualization options. In this screen shot I've kinda matched the themes between Mulab and Minimeters, and made a typical dark theme. I think it looks pretty darn modern...

Oh I quite agree,
why should MuLab look like Cubase? And as for metering, I think I may be using Izotope Insight, which looks "pretty much good enuff for me."
