Does presets of Zebra 2 will be working in Zebra 3?

No, it's completely new synth, and Zebra2 presets don't work in Zebra3.

Zebra Legacy is not going away, and I believe Urs will confirm that u-He is committed to doing the necessary maintenance and bug fixes to keep it running on future DAW and OS updates. However, it will not be getting any further feature development.

In any case, there is no migration path from Zebra Legacy to 3. You would be starting from scratch on any patches, and it's probably not worth the effort.

Zebra Legacy is not going away, and I believe Urs will confirm that u-He is committed to doing the necessary maintenance and bug fixes to keep it running on future DAW and OS updates. However, it will not be getting any further feature development.

In any case, there is no migration path from Zebra Legacy to 3. You would be starting from scratch on any patches, and it's probably not worth the effort.

On the other hand, Zebra 2 is far more CPU friendly than Zebra 3. For sounds you can make perfectly well in Z2, you don't need the power that Z3 brings to the table. To me, Z3 is kind of like Diva: use for a few key parts where the CPU use is affordable. Once you have many synths in a project, you will exhaust what your CPU can do with Z3, but with Z2 you can have a tonne of instances without running out of CPU. They are two distinct plugins with a common philosophy.

I bought Z3, but I'm interested in Z2 too. But I see there is no way to activate it.

I made a pre-order. And Z3 is om my license card. I thought having Z3 grants access to Z2. Maybe it will after the final release...

They're separate instruments. I don't recall ever seeing that buying Z3 would give you Z2. Maybe you'd be better off buying Z2 Legacy for 99usd, Urs has been quite clear that Z2 will continue to be supported.

Still. I don't understand that. Z3 is Z2 successor. I don't have Z2. But there are paths to upgrade to Z3. So why getting Z3 doesn't give me access to the Z2? Do you want to tell that I have to buy Z2 separately now?

I never had Serum 1, but when I got Serum 2, I could automatically use Serum 1.

Urs will no doubt give you a much more cogent answer than I can. What I will say though is if you've already pre-ordered Z3 you're leaving it a little late to be asking these questions.
