On a serious note tho beta team, really, you let them take away the right click tool bar instead of keeping both workflows?

Not sure what you mean?

Does anyone know of a clever way of exporting the basics of a V6 project into V5?

From installing every version in a separate folder to going fully retarded "we know better" mode?
Will I have to reinstall what I actually use each time I try a demo now?

Jeez, at least give the user some options... :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog:
That's not a new thing... That happened with 5 as well. It's unfortunate. I appreciated being able to use the beta alongside v5.3, but 6.0 removed both the 6 beta, and 5.3.

On the plus side 6 is brilliant, I had switched to it for all but one ongoing project, and think I'll switch that project over now.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty stoked with v6.0.

The UI looks better, it's more snappy and definite, and it's still the same great bitwig routing and useability.

I went through a bunch of projects yesterday 25-30. No issues everything played great.

Well... one project using a kontakt library was complaining that the version 6 of kontakt would no longer work with the library, which is just totally wack... But not a Bitwig issue.

Me too... there are so many small but valuable improvements. Stuff like the small clip headers.

Then automation is so much better. From improved smoothing, to the spread option, much better editing and automation clips. Plus the ability to drag curves between automation clips and modulators is one of those Bitwig things that puts a smile on my face.

And for me, I'm a big fan of the new Step Input. It's so fast and fluid for creating the patterns I want!

Looks like a real 'users' update, nothing flashy or gimmicky to attract new users, just solid workflow improvements. My plan ran out 1 month before the 6 beta so this is the first time I havent had the latest version since V1...I'm not in a great rush as Bitwig isn't my main DAW, but I will certainly appreciate all this new stuff when I do dive back in....easter sale? :D
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

The tool bar popping up on a right click has gone right?

Hate to be that guy, but this is still riddled with bugs. Within the first minute of testing I've got track and automation lanes changing height when I click on other tracks. Solo is still broken so that solo mutes the returns which I use as a workaround to the fact Bitwig has no control room, hope this gets addressed in a quick point release.

Found a workaround for the solo issue, and the lanes changing height seems to have settled. It's a lot more stable than when I last used it, so fingers crossed.

Sounds like the new auto-zoom selected track feature. There is an icon for it in the bottom left of the Arrange Pane. Also, there's a key-command to enable/disable it - Shift-Z

The disk image couldn't be opened

There are no mountable file systems in the disk image
Am I the only one?

For us with a subscription plan that ended before the final release and got to download 6.0 - will we also be able to get bug fixes releases like 6.0.x or are we stuck at the first release?
