The usefulness is having three or four small gui's, like the new discoDSP 'Retromulator', with each instance having a slot to choose the synth, a slot to choose the preset bank, and a slot to choose presets. Get a sound you like chosen in one, then find a sound that is great with it, and another that is great with the pair. add effects and save a project. Like having a slow-motion randomizer for one's collection of U-he synths, with a premium on the user knowing the sounds each synth offers, to get the ball rolling. It dawned on me while having Virus A, B, and C banks in a trio of retromulators, that it could be Zebra, Repro and Hive, and easier to find new combos by pushing < and > buttons thru the sounds than with three massive gui's open and fiddling with the browsers. An expandable rompler, and one could double back later to recreate a lucky find using the full versions etc. Easy to code such a plugin?

Maybe one day there'll be a universal format for presets, then something like this could play any synth presets using a cut down version of the plugin.

Allowing several patches loaded simultaneously would allow layered sound to be created and saved. Wow, I can dream eh? Lol

I would prefer a "rack" something more like Korg LegacyCell, Rob Papen's Prisma or Blue Cat's Patchwork.
Especially considering Uhbik as its primary effect.
Seems like the previous suggestion is more reminiscent of AAS Swatches with added layering.

I'm good with U-he just finishing up Zabra 3.
Arack for the Uhbik would be cool, after Zebra.
