8th track from my upcoming CD "Box Set Vol 1"
My friend Lenny wrote these lyrics 39 years ago when I first recorded it. Problem was, the song was written for a female vocalist so in order to sing it, I had to change the lyrics. It never really was quite right, even though i sang it very well.
Anyway, he asked me if I would redo it now that I have female vocalists. I said sure. Here it is, as it was originally written. Everything is better except for maybe the vocals. This was my song and I probably did my best vocal performance. But this will have to do.
