Feature Request: "Analyze Selection" in TheNormalizer

I have something of a weird feature request to submit here for TheNormalizer... would it be possible to add functionality to analyze an entire track or selection/range vs. just analyzing while playing in real-time?

I've spent the last few years mixing tons of live concert multitracks (often about two hours long) and have developed a pretty streamlined workflow in Audacity, which is of course a bit of a joke in real audio development circles and lacks compatibility with a lot of nicer plugins... I've been attempting to migrate my weird work habits to a couple real DAW's (mostly Ardour) but I'm finding the biggest hiccup is in normalizing loudness after an effects chain.

In Audacity, I often destructively render effects then for selected tracks (often room mics, bass, kick, stereo-balanced melodic instruments etc.) I normalize the entire resulting track to -22 LUFS for more consistent fader "presets" across projects, which simply applies within the existing track with the option to undo back to before that render operation or later re-import the raw track if modifications to that effects chain are needed. Moving to a more "real" DAW has been clunky, as I need to bounce and re-import the result, which becomes frustrating from a file management standpoint.

I was very happy to come across TheNormalizer as it seems perfect for my use case, but having to analyze in real-time is not feasible for an entire live concert.. something like an extra button to "Analyze Selection" would be immensely helpful, if Audacity can accomplish this for a two-hour track in a minute or so then I'd imagine this should be plenty achievable here as well.

Thanks for the super detailed feature request—I totally get the pain with those 2-hour live mixes!
Sadly, right now no VST3, AU, or AAX plugin can analyze a full track offline: they’re built for real-time only, so you gotta play it all.
Good news though: we’re wrapping up TheNormalizer MK2 with ARA 2 support. In DAWs like Cubase or Studio One, you’ll be able to analyze and normalize entire files without playback—spot on for your multitracks!
We’re also mulling a standalone app for batch normalizing tons of files, so no more endless bounces.
I’ll keep you posted on betas and timelines. What DAW are you mainly using? Helps us prioritize!
