BTW, I’d love to see the Feedback control from the thement version brought back at some point, you could achieve some really extreme effects with it. Is there a chance it might be added in the future?
In any case, congratulations and thank you for the brilliant work you’ve done with Turbo Alexis, Rafa.

I assume you already realized that feedback it's there for the LFO-based programs.
I added it only because the modulation amount was doing nothing on the LFO programs. It's so-so for me. Probably a beta testing round would have helped me notice that people like it, as now that 1.0.0 is out I'm very reluctant to change the sound or parameter set, as it breaks people's projects.
Now this is more a problem of UI layout and me liking having a reduced set of controls. If I decide to add some features and I have an uneven amount of knobs I might consider it.
I was toying with the idea of testing adding a pitch shifter (shimmer) at the input and then feedback, but IMO shimmer reverbs get old fast, so I don't know... It also doesn't feel that it conceptually belongs to the midiverb. That is a single knob and would leave a "UI slot" for the feedback knob.

No, I reused all my own dsp and ui "framework". Easy to see if you check the sources (monorepo).
I have absolutely nothing against someone else contributing these things back to the original project.
Note that I was in contact with thement to ask for approval before even starting .
My impression is that he is more interested in the hardware side of things/reversing and that he did the VST3 as an afterthough, so both projects are probably complementary.

Actually delay line modulation's main goal is to break periodic patterns that lead to resonances in the reverb. It can go into the cheesy range too, but it isn't its only application.
It's also relevant for these devices, as it's exactly what e.g. the Lexicons and other reverbs were doing at the time.

Added 1.0.2 fixing this and adding two more buttons for changing program at the left.Sahul wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 12:14 pm I've spotted a small typo in the list of presets: 19. Medum Bright 1.65 sec.
