I jumped on the discount and went from 10 to 11.

Weird thing: i upgraded from FX 4 to 6 earlier this year and those licenses are linked. But for V collection both show up as registered..would I be able to resell the license for V 10?

They have a deal on upgrading to V Collection 11. Login to their website and look under “My Offers”. I might buy it, since it’s just $99 for my offer going from v8 to 11.

Probably means V-Collection 12 is just around the corner.

If they keep the same release pattern they've been keeping for the last decade or so, the VC12 should be released around December this year.

They've been quite consistent, alternating releases between December and April/May.

VC6 - Dec 2017
VC7 - April 2019
VC8 - Dec 2020
VC9 - May 2022
VC10 - Dec 2023
VC11 - April 2025

The release pattern basically says "VC12 on December 2026", but then... they could always change it at some point.
Actually I'm a bit surprised how consistent they've been keeping it, considering how the marked has changed in the last few years.

One thing that sure changed (since VC8) is the fact they started releasing some instruments along the way, then included in the VC bundle when it's officially and finally released.
Like during the waiting period for VC8 they had the OB-Xa released in May2020, then included in the official/final VC8 release later in December. Something similar could happen in 2026.

It's quite annoying when I already have V Collection FX 3 in my account and 6-7 of the individual FX plugins that came after it but my upgrade price to FX 6 is 200 EUR. It's a bit too steep.

They changed the design of "My Products" page too, which was very much needed.

99 from 10 to 11 is the same as when it was released right? Or was it 199 upgrade at release?

I've had the collection a few years, and I can tell you that I still haven't learned them all.

However,
1) I don't feel the need to learn everything. In a package this large, it makes sense that you are not going to like them all. In my case, I'm not a fan of the Roland synths, so that's a few I can ignore. Likewise SEM is not one I think adds a lot to what I have. It's okay if not everything inspires you and you don't have to learn the ones that don't.
2) A lot of these are things that I am already familiar with such as the B3, or Mini and OBx and even their CZ.
3) A lot of these are devices where you might mostly use presets with some minor tweaks. The Fairlight and Emulator instruments fall in that category for me. Likewise, there's not a lot you are going to have to learn about any of their classic keyboard emulations. And while the Augmented series is capable of a lot, I don't know that I feel the need to go beyond presets with those either.

I have a handful from the Collection that I use a lot and know well, some that I like the sounds of but don't care to really dive deep into them, and some that didn't grab me enough to explore further.
I have enough favorites now that it makes more sense financially to stick with the Collection instead of considering just a few individual instruments. That wasn't always the case.
