CDP wasnt always free,I paid around £100 in 2003regularnormaldude wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 1:37 pmYeah, that's really odd... I wouldn't know how that world works, hehe. It's a shame (at least for me). I mostly stick to CDP, Reaper and Renoise these days.ChamomileShark wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 1:00 pmMy experience is that the more experimental stuff is either relatively expensive, e.g GRM stuff, Metasynth and Max/MSP or it is free e.g Andrew Reeman's stuff, Paulstretch, CDP, CSound, Super Collider and Pure Data.regularnormaldude wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:54 am I really loved playing with the demo, Atelier is beautifully designed! But the price point is beyond any DAW or plugin suite I’ve ever bought. I can’t fully comprehend it, and it’s unfortunately out of my budget![]()

I've been using it almost daily since the windows version launched, it's so much fun to use and while i agree some more modules would be nice, it's also kind of refreshing to just work with what is there. Looking forward to further development.
Not much feature requests other than a DAW sync, though a modifier key to shift cursors in semitones, and global snapshots would be nice.

Is there a manual ? / can`t find it
Edit: otherwise: obsolete post / had to change the workflow
( was about: recording in the player / i record now outside of atelier anyway)
(Both solutions are unfluffy vs. file handling. But i need the finaly sound anyway incl. post processing)

I'd like to see an increase in the morph time. Max is 1min I think, I'd like longer times.

Has anyone EVER seen these guys have a sale of any sort?
There is only two plugins that interest me, (Warp and Reson) and each is locked in a different bundle.
Have just seen that the bundle prices have dropped to 80 euros (used to be 160 I think), so it's getting tempting, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen them on sale?
I've been checking for years now

Sometimes 3rd party vendors put them on sale. From memory I got one bundle from Don't Crack (private zone) and JRR Shop. But again from memory those vendors are currently at the full original prices, or they were last time I checked.

yeah, they`ve been sometimes at 50% down. But i guess that`s now the new price anyway._al_ wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 6:44 pm Have just seen that the bundle prices have dropped to 80 euros (used to be 160 I think), so it's getting tempting, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen them on sale?

I would expect it to take some time bevore you see them go down lower at sales. But reality might prove me wrong.
Good choice btw.

Good to know, thanks. I don't really have time to be watching 3rd party vendors, so I guess I'll just have to buy them if I want them that much.ChamomileShark wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 7:03 pm Sometimes 3rd party vendors put them on sale. £80 still seems pretty steep for a resonator, but hey, it really does have a beautiful sound.

hehe, well I got a friend who literally makes whole tracks from a few simple clicks, and almost always begins his fx chains with Reson.
His bass bus sounds so full bodied and pro, it boggles my mind how you can get such a sound from a click.
I told him I was gonna try and build a Reson clone using Melda Multiband Comb, so we could collab, but it was so much work, and so complex a task (he insisted on the XY ball setup), I just couldn't get it sounding as nice as reson.
So yep... guess I gotta buy reson

This is a fun resonator, I stack it for a bit more complexity
