It's possible to accidentally end up with MIDI program changes in your MIDI stream if you're not careful. Now, I have *never* had this behavior on my system, but some folks seem to get it on occasion... and it's easy to fix if it does happen, just select the MIDI clip, click on "Insert program change", then choose "remove all program-change messages from this clip".
I used to have the PPG plug and it was nothing but trouble in Tracktion and OPlat, I'm well rid of it now! Got me Kubik and W-Station for that sort of thing and they work flawlessly.

I did have problems with presets resetting themselves: if I froze a track and then unfroze it, the preset would have changed somehow.
It only happened with a few plug ins, And since I mainly use WS now I don't have this problem anymore.
